It’s been three weeks yesterday and I still feel as though I’m like default grinning.
And a lot of that has to do with a recent trip my family and I took. This was the first time we ventured out of the central air conditioning of home for vacation since the pandemic. My wife has a condition which put her at higher risk for big time complications from Covid. So even last summer, we just couldn’t chance it as the cases were high everywhere we wanted to go. That effectively took care of that. But this summer, we did something that we will now be doing going forward with family vacations. This year, we got a vacation rental at the beach we love to visit. And this place was the best. Not only was it spacious and about what we would spend at the resort we used to stay at, but it was so well appointed. I immediately fell in love with the quality heating and air. This place had the very latest in residential HVAC with all the HVAC technology as well. There was even zone controlled HVAC throughout the vacation rental. And that meant mom and dad had a thermostat in the master bedroom. Wow, what a vacation treat that unlimited HVAC cooling was. My wife even had to go to a local department store to get herself some serious jammies as I was cranking down the thermostat in our room. What a great trip we had. And knowing that after spending the day in the sun, I was going to enjoy just the best HVAC cooling really was the cherry on top.
